Re-issue and exchange driving licenses for over 13,000 applications directly and online

Quan Lao Town Police, Yen Dinh District receives, guides and processes applications for issuing and exchanging driver's licenses for citizens.

Due to the huge demand for issuance and re-issuance of driving licenses of people in districts, towns and cities in the province, while the geographical conditions are large, with many areas from the district center to the provincial public administrative service center hundreds of kilometers away, so to create favorable conditions for people, from April 1, the Director of the Provincial Police Department decided to add 9 more points to receive, guide and handle procedures for issuance and re-issuance of driving licenses at the police stations of communes, wards and towns.

With a sense of responsibility, officers and soldiers at commune-level police stations have made efforts to access the processes and procedures related to granting and exchanging driving licenses for people, ensuring a smooth transfer process without affecting the normal operations of people and businesses.

From March 1, 2025 to present, Thanh Hoa Police have received and resolved the re-issuance and exchange of driving licenses for 13,105 applications directly and online; of which 10,762 applications were received and resolved at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, including 9,282 applications for issuance and exchange and 1,480 applications for re-issuance. After nearly 2 months of implementing and performing new tasks, the police of communes, wards and towns have received and resolved 2,343 applications for issuance and exchange of driving licenses.
