131 contestants compete at Phu Yen Youth Informatics Contest

On May 25, the Provincial Youth Union, the Department of Education and Training, and the Provincial Informatics Association organized the 28th Phu Yen Youth Informatics Contest in 2025. This year's contest attracted 131 contestants from districts, towns, and cities, divided into 4 groups: Group A for programming skills for primary school students; Group B for programming skills for secondary school students; Group C1 for programming skills for specialized high schools; Group C2 for programming skills for non-specialized high schools.

After a day of competition, the results for the whole delegation: Tuy Hoa City won first prize; Dong Hoa Town won second prize; third prize was awarded to Dong Xuan District and Song Cau Town; Tay Hoa District won the consolation prize.

For individuals, group A: first prize went to Nguyen Ngoc Thanh Ha, class 4B, Da Loc Primary School (Dong Xuan district). Group B: first prize went to Dang Thanh Nam, class 9E, Hung Vuong Secondary School (Tuy Hoa city). Group C1: first prize went to Nguyen Thanh Huy, class 11 IT, Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted. Group C2: first prize went to Dang Ky Anh, class 10 C1, Le Loi High School (Dong Xuan district). In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded many third prizes and consolation prizes to the contestants.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee awarded 28 individuals who have made many contributions to the Youth Informatics Contest over the past years.

The Phu Yen Youth Informatics Competition aims to encourage young people and students to promote the learning movement, widely apply information technology in learning and life, thereby promptly nurturing young talents in the field of IT, meeting the needs and aspirations of young people in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country. Through the competition, the organizing committee selects candidates with high achievements to train and participate in the regional round of the 31st National Youth Informatics Competition in 2025.
