The Earthquake and Tsunami Warning Center - Institute of Earth Sciences under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology has just issued a warning that at 4:57:18 (GMT) on May 25, or 11:57:18 (Hanoi time), an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred at the coordinates (15.001 degrees North latitude, 108.154 degrees East longitude), with a focal depth of about 8.1 km in Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province.

Earlier, early in the morning of the same day, the warning system of the Earthquake and Tsunami Warning Center - Institute of Earth Sciences also issued a warning that in the Nam Tra My area, Quang Nam province, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.6 and a depth of 8.1km occurred.

The Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center - Institute of Earth Sciences said it is still monitoring these earthquakes.
