Built close to the runway in the center of Truong Sa town, the 800 m² President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex was built in 2010 and includes 5 items: Memorial House, Stele House, Bell House, Gate and Fence.
In front is an ivory-white marble stele, engraved with a poem by Grand Chancellor Ly Thuong Kiet in bold gold letters: "The mountains and rivers of the South belong to the Emperor, their fate is clearly determined in the book of heaven. If the rebels come to invade, you will be defeated and ruined."
The memorial house has traditional architecture, imbued with Vietnamese culture, with a stylized yin-yang tiled roof shaped like ocean waves. The statue of Uncle Ho made of solid bronze, weighing nearly 1 ton, is placed in the middle of the main hall, simulating the image of Uncle Ho waving to the people and soldiers of the whole country.

Visiting the Memorial House, listening to the bells ringing in the middle of the sea and sky of the Fatherland, lighting incense before the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, everyone can feel the image of Uncle Ho in their hearts. "The Memorial House of Uncle Ho is a special gift from the Party Committee, the government and the people of Nghe An province to the cadres and soldiers of Truong Sa in 2010. This is also a special cultural and spiritual work. In the middle of the sea of the Fatherland, listening to the bells echoing from Uncle Ho's temple, the sacred feeling is extremely touching" - Colonel Tran Van Tho, Political Commissar of Brigade 146, Command of Naval Region 4 shared.
In the exhibition room at the Memorial House, there are 64 photos and historical documents that quite fully record Uncle Ho's life and career from his childhood to his passing away. In a small corner of this special cultural space, there is a photo of Uncle Ho wearing a navy cap along with his instructions to the Vietnam People's Navy: "In the past, we only had night and forest, today we have day, sky, and sea. Our coastline is long and beautiful, we must know how to preserve it."

That instruction not only advised naval officers and soldiers to keep the Fatherland's coastline intact in both wartime and peacetime, but also advised marine soldiers to strive to protect the country's territorial integrity and sovereignty, to protect every inch of island and wave left by their ancestors. That instruction has been carried out by officers and soldiers for the past 70 years in their journey to protect the sea, and is being continued by generations of officers and soldiers today, further beautifying the tradition of "Fighting bravely - being resourceful and creative - mastering the sea - determined to fight and win" of the Vietnam People's Navy.
Sharing about the cultural space in the Uncle Ho Memorial House, Captain Nguyen Anh Tuan, Political Commissar of Combat Group 3, Truong Sa Lon Island, said that on the two weekends, officers and soldiers in the units of Truong Sa town often come to the Uncle Ho Memorial House to read books and study documents. He confided: “In the middle of the sea and sky of the Fatherland, being able to burn incense to pay respect to Uncle Ho, to express our gratitude and read documents about his life and activities, everyone is moved. For us, officers and soldiers of Truong Sa, every time we visit Uncle Ho is a time to learn from him valuable lessons about revolutionary ethics.”
