Emotional memorial service for former President Tran Duc Luong

In Quang Ngai , the hometown of former President Tran Duc Luong, a solemn memorial service was also held. At around 11:00 a.m. on May 25, the coffin of former President Tran Duc Luong will arrive at Chu Lai airport. From 3:00 p.m., the burial ceremony will take place at the hometown cemetery in Pho Khanh commune, Duc Pho town.

President Luong Cuong, Head of the Funeral Committee, read the eulogy at the memorial service for former President Tran Duc Luong. "With 88 years of age, 65 years of Party membership, and more than 50 years of revolutionary activities, comrade Tran Duc Luong has constantly strived to devote all his efforts to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party, the nation, and the happiness of the people," President Luong Cuong affirmed.

Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, son of former President Tran Duc Luong, expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders of the Party, State, friends and people who came to say goodbye and express their condolences to former President Tran Duc Luong. "Dad, you lived a life full of love for the Party, the people, the country, the homeland and the whole family. We hope you rest in peace, always watching over and blessing our mother, all of us, the family, the people and the country that you always loved," Mr. Tran Tuan Anh emotionally said.
