The Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee said that in recent years, the Provincial Steering Committee 515 has coordinated with relevant agencies to actively search for, collect and bring the remains of martyrs to be buried at the province's martyr cemeteries.
However, a considerable number of war relics remain at the temporary war cemetery. Up to now, the Standing Office has coordinated with the Party Committee and the government to continue searching. With the enthusiastic help and support of the locality and the people, the war relics search and collection unit has found 51 sets of war relics.
Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee - Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 515 Nguyen Thi Be Muoi emotionally said that from today, you ladies and gentlemen have returned to your comrades and teammates at the common home - Ben Tre Province Martyrs' Cemetery. The heroic martyrs here have new teammates. The remains of the ladies and gentlemen who were brought back have mostly not been identified by name, age, or hometown, but wherever they are, they are all soldiers who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the homeland.
The blood of the heroic martyrs has been shed in every inch of the homeland, coloring the glorious flag of the Fatherland, contributing to writing the glorious history of the nation, of the heroic homeland of Dong Khoi. We pray that the souls of the heroic martyrs will consider their homeland Ben Tre as a peaceful land to rest here.
Provincial Party Secretary - Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Ho Thi Hoang Yen burned incense at the graves of martyrs who had just been buried.
