At about 7:30, the funeral procession left the funeral home.
The hearse carrying former President Tran Duc Luong traveled along Tran Thanh Tong Street and through August Revolution Square.

The convoy passed through the areas of Van Phuc and Van Bao streets.
The portrait of former President Tran Duc Luong was brought into his private home for a ceremony.
Then the convoy continued straight towards Lieu Giai street.
Lieu Giai - Van Phuc intersection at 8:14.
Linh Xa turns into Dao Tan street.
Linh Xa passes by Hanoi-Daewoo hotel area.
The convoy passed Nhat Tan bridge at 8:30.
