The ceremony was attended by officials and members of the Consulate General, representatives of Vietnam Airlines , the consular delegation in Perth, professors and lecturers of Curtin University, party members, community members and international friends.
In the solemn and emotional atmosphere of the ceremony, the delegations expressed their infinite sorrow at the passing of former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Duc Luong, and at the same time expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions of the former President to the country as well as to peace, stability and cooperation in the region and the world .

On behalf of the Consulate General staff, Consul General Nguyen Thanh Ha read the Announcement on the organization of the State Funeral for Comrade Tran Duc Luong; expressed gratitude for Comrade Tran Duc Luong's great contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, mourned the loss of formerPresident Tran Duc Luong; and sent the deepest condolences to Comrade Tran Duc Luong's family.
All staff of the Consulate General and representatives of Vietnam Airlines observed a minute of silence, bowed respectfully, and remembered the soul of former President Tran Duc Luong.
