Inauguration of the project "Bringing electricity to schools" in Tra Tap commune

DNO - On October 14, the People's Committee of Tra Tap commune coordinated with sponsoring units to organize the inauguration ceremony of the project "Bringing electricity to school" at Tak Po school (village 6).

The project is sponsored by 3 units including: HP Global Digital Connection Joint Stock Company, Hanoi Telecommunications Joint Stock Company and Helio Energy Joint Stock Company with a budget of more than 172 million VND.

To date, the project has completed the installation of a system of 22 solar panels on the roof, storage batteries, electrical cabinets and many other materials and accessories. Thereby, serving the basic electrical equipment for the school and 37 households in Tak Po village.

In addition to Tak Po, the project to install solar power systems at two other schools in Tra Tap commune, Lang Luong (village 7) and Ngoc Nam (village 2), serves the needs of teachers, students and dozens of households.

According to Mr. Ngo Tan Lac, Vice Chairman of Tra Tap Commune People's Committee, due to the large area, scattered population, and complex terrain, investment in electricity infrastructure has encountered many difficulties. The percentage of local households not using grid electricity accounts for 35.7%.

The sponsor's support for the installation of solar power systems at the three schools mentioned above helps teaching become more effective; at the same time, it solves the urgent needs of households with limited living conditions due to lack of electricity.
