Last weekend, after more than 5 hours of travel from the center of Da Nang city, members of the JCI Vietnam (Junior Chamber International Vietnam) and JCI Da Nang delegation arrived at Kiet Xoan village (Tra Tap commune).
During this trip, JCI Da Nang members donated 27 solar power systems to local residents; and 20 sets of school supplies and 100 mooncakes to students.
Many organizations sponsored the event, including: Australian Dental Clinic Da Nang, Van Chuong Dental Clinic, LEOGO English Center, Danafin Investment and Consulting Joint Stock Company, BBE - Be Better Everyday, Brando Communications Company, Vigift Gifts, Khoa Tin Law Firm, Nhan Decor by Lighting...

Receiving the solar lights, Deputy Head of the Economic Department of Tra Tap Commune Nguyen Do Tri excitedly said: "There have been many activities to donate solar lights in the past in the locality, but not on a large scale like this time. People are very happy with the donation of the power system and gifts from the Lighting project of JCI Da Nang".
"Lighting Up" is one of four projects under JCI Da Nang, aiming to improve the quality of life for people in disadvantaged areas lacking access to electricity, based on the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

JCI Da Nang was established with the goal of connecting and developing entrepreneurs in Da Nang city. With diverse activities in community development, skills training, and networking, the organization has made a positive contribution to the development of the city and surrounding areas.
In addition to the activity of bringing solar power to Kiep Xoan village, JCI Da Nang previously deployed "lighting" activities in many locations in Nam Tra My district, Quang Nam province (old), now Nam Tra My commune (Da Nang city).
