TPO - On the evening of December 23, the Ministry of Education and Training informed that nearly 6,500 candidates will take the national excellent student exam taking place from December 24-26. Up to this point, the transportation of exam papers has been going smoothly.
This year's national excellent student exam increased by 663 candidates compared to last year at 68 examination councils, including 63 provinces and cities and 5 universities with high school level.
Candidates will take the exam in 13 cultural subjects including: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, Literature, History, Geography, English, Russian, French, Chinese, Japanese. The exam content follows the 2018 GeneralEducation Program.

The specific exam schedule is as follows:
On December 25, candidates will take written exams in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, English, Russian, French, Chinese, Japanese and a computer programming exam in Information Technology.
On December 26, candidates will take written exams in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology; oral exams in English, Russian, French, Chinese, Japanese; and computer programming exams in Information Technology.
The Ministry of Education and Training said that the national high school exam for the 2024-2025 school year has some points, namely, the Japanese language subject is held for the first time. This year is also the first year that the Ministry of Education and Training has applied the method of transporting exam papers through the Government Cipher Committee system nationwide. Up to this point, the transportation of exam papers has taken place smoothly and quickly.
The exam results are expected to be announced by the end of January 2025.
