In a press conference on May 7th, ahead of the Europa League semi-final second leg against Athletic Bilbao, Garnacho shared: "I want to have good performances at MU. I have a contract and I am happy here."
Garnacho also admitted that his form has improved recently, especially after Ruben Amorim took over as manager. "It's not easy having a manager change in the middle of the season. But I think I've performed well, and the whole team has shown their capabilities. I hope we'll have a different approach next season and everyone's morale will be better," he said.
This season, Garnacho has scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists in 33 appearances. The Argentine striker and his team aim to win the Europa League to secure a place in next season's Champions League.
According to The Athletic , Garnacho's departure from Old Trafford is entirely possible if Manchester United receive a reasonable offer. Big clubs like Chelsea, Napoli, and Juventus are all reportedly interested in Garnacho.
Manager Amorim is looking for suitable attacking players to help improve Manchester United's performance next season. Matheus Cunha and Liam Delap are among the names being targeted, but they could cost the Red Devils up to £100 million.
