At the conference of the Standing Committee of the Van Don Special Zone Party Committee and the first conference of the Executive Committee of the Special Zone Party Committee, term 2020-2025, delegates unanimously approved the Working Regulations of the Executive Committee of the Special Zone Party Committee, term 2020-2025; assigned tasks to members of the Standing Committee and members of the Executive Committee of the Special Zone Party Committee.
Approving the Decision on establishing party organizations under the Party Committee of the special zone; Decision on establishing specialized agencies to advise and assist the Party Committee and the Political Center of the special zone; Decision on establishing the Vietnam Fatherland Front agency of the special zone; Working program of the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee in 2025; Inspection and supervision program in 2025; Plan to organize congresses of branches and party committees towards the Congress of delegates of the Party Committee of the special zone; giving opinions on the program of the first session of the People's Council of the special zone, term 2021-2026.
Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Van Don Special Economic Zone Cao Tuong Huy said that the 2025 goal of the special economic zone is to boost growth, promote potentials and strengths; create breakthroughs in economic development, especially tourism, services, and marine economy , associated with promoting the application of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in all fields; focus on implementing three strategic breakthroughs; promote the cultural strength and people of Van Don associated with ensuring social security, improving the quality of people's lives; firmly ensure national defense and security, social order and safety, and improve the effectiveness of foreign affairs.
Immediately after the meetings of the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee, and the People's Council of Van Don Special Zone held the first session for the 2021-2026 term. This is an important session to create a foundation for the local government apparatus to operate effectively, meet the requirements of state management innovation, and serve the people better and more effectively. Also today, Van Don Special Zone will hold a conference to announce decisions on the organization and personnel of the special zone; a conference of agencies and units under the special zone's political system.

As a citizen, we believe and expect a strong change in Van Don after becoming a special economic zone of Quang Ninh province.
In Mao Khe ward, after the first meeting of the Party Committee Standing Committee and the Party Executive Committee of the ward, the People's Council of Mao Khe ward held the first session for the 2021-2026 term. This is an important session, demonstrating the locality's determination after the arrangement to complete the socio-economic development tasks in the new period.
