Lauren Humphreys shared on TikTok the story of her sisters' names having the first letter next to each other on the English alphabet, JKLMNO, attracting more than 3.3 million views and thousands of comments.

She said she has two older sisters, Jolene and Kelsie. Lauren is the third child and her parents named her with the letter L. Number four is her younger brother Matthew. "If Matthew were a girl, we would have named him Molly," Lauren said.

After Matthew, the family grew to include two more members, named Nolan and Olivia. "I really feel closer to my sisters because of this special thing. We are known as the alphabet sisters," Lauren shared.

In a photo of the six sisters taken together at Nolan's wedding, each one bends her body, forming the shape of the first letter of her name.

"We're both married. We've had photos of us posing for letters at each other's weddings. Photographers often find that very interesting," Lauren said.

Although she loves this style of naming, Lauren admits that none of her sisters continue the tradition created by their parents.
