After the previous adjustment, the price of live pigs in the Northern region remained stable this morning (May 14).
Currently, live pigs in this area are being purchased by traders at prices ranging from 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
The Central Highlands region recorded a slight increase in live pig prices in Binh Thuan, reaching 73,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region.
In the remaining localities in the region, the price of live pigs continues to maintain a sideways trend. Accordingly, live pigs in this area are being bought and sold at a difference of about 67,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern market, the price of live pigs increased in many localities. In particular, live pigs in Long An, Tien Giang and Ben Tre increased to 75,000 VND/kg; Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Tra Vinh reached 74,000 VND/kg.
The South is currently the region with the highest pork price in the country, ranging from 73,000 - 74,000 VND/kg.
Pig prices continued to rise slightly in some provinces in the Southern and South Central regions this morning. The latest survey shows that pigs nationwide are being bought and sold at prices ranging from 67,000 - 75,000 VND/kg.
