The contest to learn about the law on ethnic affairs of the province is one of the propaganda activities in the form of dramatization, organized from district to national level, under the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030, phase 1: From 2021 - 2025 (National Target Program 1729).
The teams took turns going through 4 rounds: Greeting, knowledge test, situation handling and skit. Each round skillfully combined reality and dramatization, bringing a close and practical message about the law related to ethnic minorities. In particular, focusing on legal regulations on ethnic affairs, focusing on the National Target Program 1719; legal regulations related to the lives of ethnic minorities such as preventing and combating social evils, domestic violence, gender equality, marriage and family; promoting the role of the people in protecting national defense and security in the locality...
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Mr. Huynh Kim Dong - Deputy Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Gia Lai province said: The contest aims to raise awareness and understanding of ethnic policies and work in the province, promote legal knowledge, improve propaganda skills to effectively implement the Party's policies and the State's laws for people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
At the same time, affirming the position and role of cadres and civil servants working in ethnic affairs, promptly disseminating policies and guidelines to ethnic minorities and mountainous areas; enhancing understanding, exchange and learning, uniting ethnic minorities, sharing good experiences, good and effective models of localities in recent times.
“Through the contest, contestants will accumulate many good lessons and valuable experiences to further promote their proactive and creative role in the work with the goal of promoting propaganda work, raising awareness of the meaning and importance of ethnic work and implementing ethnic policies. At the same time, promptly detect and reflect positive aspects as well as limitations to have solutions to better implement ethnic work and ethnic policies,” Mr. Huynh Kim Dong emphasized.
The contest will close on November 1.
