Gold price hits new peak, surpassing 72 million VND/tael
Gold prices today increased sharply by nearly 1 million VND/tael in both buying and selling directions. Domestic gold prices officially surpassed the 72 million VND/tael mark.
At the time of survey at 5:00 a.m. on November 23, the gold price on the trading floors of some companies was as follows:
DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 71.00 million VND/tael for buying and 72.00 million VND/tael for selling.

At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 70.95 - 71.75 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 71.05 - 71.80 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 71.00 - 72.20 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
USD prices increase again
Today, the VCB USD exchange rate increased sharply by 65 VND for both buying and selling. The world USD traded close to the 104 point threshold.
The central VND/USD exchange rate announced by the State Bank is adjusted to 23,885 VND/USD, down 30 VND compared to the closing price of yesterday's trading session.
Currently, the exchange rate allowed for trading by commercial banks ranges from 23,400 - 25,029 VND/USD. The US Dollar exchange rate has also been brought to the buying and selling range by the State Bank of Vietnam from 23,400 to 25,029 VND/USD.

The USD exchange rate at banks and domestic foreign exchange rates this morning recorded a series of upward adjustments at banks. Specifically, Vietcombank has a buying price of 23,985 and a selling price of 24,355, an increase of 65 VND compared to yesterday's trading session. The current USD buying and selling prices are in the range of 23,400 - 25,300 VND/USD.
Domestic coffee prices remain high
Domestic coffee prices updated at 4:18 a.m. on November 23 continue to maintain a fairly high level. Currently, the average coffee price in the Central Highlands provinces is about 57,500 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Lak province is 57,800 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces on November 23 was quite high, at 57,500 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee was purchased at 57,500 VND/kg.

The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, is purchased at 57,100 VND/kg.
The Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA) believes that coffee prices will continue to remain high due to large market demand, especially in the EU, from now until April next year.
In the 2022/2023 crop year, Vietnam's coffee exports will earn US$4.08 billion, up 3.4% over the previous crop year thanks to high prices.
Notably, Vietnam's coffee exports have shifted significantly. By type of coffee exported, Robusta coffee accounted for the highest proportion with 1.49 million tons, worth 3.25 billion USD; Arabica coffee beans exported reached 41,500 tons, worth 169 million USD; decaffeinated coffee beans 36,000 tons, worth 136 million USD.
In particular, processed coffee exports have increased significantly. Roasted and instant coffee exports are about 90,000 tons with a turnover of about 510 million USD (volume accounts for about 5.4%, turnover accounts for about 12.5% of total coffee exports in the 2022-2023 crop year). Currently, Vietnamese coffee is present in more than 70 countries and territories.
