Gold ring price decreased by 200,000 VND, USD exchange rate at commercial banks increased

SJC gold price remained stable on the morning of May 27, in which the selling price at common businesses was at 119 million VND/tael while gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau continued to decrease by 200,000 VND/tael.

SJC gold price at domestic enterprises remained stable at the opening session this morning (May 27).

At 9:00 a.m., the price of SJC gold at Saigon Jewelry Company and Doji was listed at 116.5-119 million VND/tael, while at Phu Quy Company, the price of SJC gold was announced at 116-119 million VND/tael, unchanged from the previous closing price.

Meanwhile, the price of gold rings at this company is listed at 112-115 million VND/tael (buy/sell), remaining stable. However, the price of round gold rings of Bao Tin Minh Chau Company decreased by 200,000 VND/tael, the new price is from 114.5-117.5 million VND/tael, remaining stable compared to the previous closing price.

Yesterday, domestic gold prices fell sharply, with the SJC brand losing 2 million VND per tael, and gold rings also falling from 800,000 VND to 1 million VND per tael.

In the world, the price of gold this morning reversed and increased sharply, reaching the threshold of 3,333 USD/ounce, down 5 USD compared to the same time of the previous session. This price is equivalent to 104.8 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank .

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 25,935 VND/USD, down 5 VND compared to the previous session. With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank traded from 25,740-26,100 VND/USD (buy/sell); Agribank traded from 25,750-26,090 VND/USD, both up 10 VND. BIDV Bank announced the USD exchange rate from 25,740-26,100 VND/USD, up 20 VND.

On the contrary, Vietinbank traded from 25,735-26,095 VND/USD (buy/sell), down 5 VND compared to the previous session./.
