Gold prices continue to soar
Today, the price of 9999, SJC, 24K gold increased by 350,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling. The world gold price skyrocketed to nearly 2,000 USD/ounce.

Today's 9999 gold price is listed by DOJI at 70.50 million VND/tael for buying and 71.20 million VND/tael for selling.

At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 70.50 - 71.00 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 70.50 - 71.15 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 70.50 - 71.42 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Japanese Yen exchange rate continues to increase strongly
Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of November 22, 2023 at banks, specifically as follows:
At Vietcombank, the buying rate of the Japanese Yen is 158.91 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 168.21 VND/JPY, up 1.57 VND for buying and 1.66 VND for selling. At Vietinbank, the buying and selling rates increased by 0.37 VND, equivalent to 159.22 VND/JPY and 168.92 VND/JPY. At BIDV, the buying rate increased by 0.72 VND and the selling rate increased by 0.74 VND, reaching 157.48 VND/JPY and 165.75 VND/JPY, respectively. At Agribank , the buying and selling rates were 158.80 VND/JPY and 163.74 VND/JPY, up 0.45 VND for buying and 0.48 VND for selling, respectively.

At Eximbank, the buying rate increased by 0.41 VND and the selling rate increased by 0.43 VND, respectively, to 161.03 VND/JPY and 165.54 VND/JPY. At Techcombank, the buying rate increased by 0.6 VND and the selling rate increased by 0.64 VND, respectively, to 156.85 VND/JPY and 167.83 VND/JPY. At Sacombank, the buying rate increased by 0.92 VND and the selling rate increased by 0.92 VND, respectively, to 161.05 VND/JPY and 167.62 VND/JPY.
According to the survey, today Sacombank is the bank with the highest buying rate of Japanese Yen and Agribank is the bank with the lowest selling rate among the banks.
Gasoline prices cool down to wait for supply
Today's gasoline and oil prices on November 22, 2023 on the world market slowed down after a sharp increase. Oil prices cooled down due to investors' cautious sentiment.

According to data from Oilprice, at 8:19 p.m. on November 21 (Vietnam time), Brent crude oil was trading at $81.77 per barrel, down $0.55, or 0.67%, from the previous session. WTI crude oil was trading at $77.29 per barrel, down $0.54, or 0.69%, from the previous session.
Analysts said oil prices cooled as investors were cautious ahead of a meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (also known as OPEC+) on November 26 to discuss deeper supply cuts due to slowing global growth.
OPEC+ is considering whether to implement additional supply cuts at its meeting on November 26.
In the domestic market, the retail prices of gasoline and oil today, November 22, are applied according to the price of the operating session on the afternoon of November 13. Accordingly, gasoline and oil prices have all been adjusted down. Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline decreased to 22,270 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline decreased to 23,530 VND/liter. The price of diesel oil decreased to 20,880 VND/liter and the price of kerosene decreased to 21,510 VND/liter.
