Gasoline and oil prices have all dropped sharply, RON 95 gasoline is close to 19,000 VND/liter

Accordingly, from 3 p.m., the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by VND1,491/liter, to VND18,882/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND1,712/liter, with a maximum retail price of VND19,207/liter. Thus, the price of all types of gasoline decreased for the first time after 3 consecutive increases.

Oil prices also fell sharply during this retail price adjustment period. Specifically, diesel prices fell by VND1,235 per liter, to VND17,243 per liter; kerosene fell by VND1,322 per liter, to a maximum retail price of VND17,413 per liter; and fuel oil fell by VND1,124 per kilogram, to VND15,902 per kilogram.

Since the beginning of 2025, there have been 15 adjustments to retail gasoline prices, of which RON 95 gasoline has increased 8 times and decreased 7 times; E5 RON 92 gasoline has increased 9 times and decreased 6 times; diesel has increased 7 times and decreased 8 times.
