DNO - On the afternoon of May 16th, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade adjusted the retail prices of petroleum products. Specifically, gasoline prices decreased by 409-508 VND/liter.
Specifically, the price of RON92 gasoline decreased by 508 VND/liter, to 22,115 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline decreased by 409 VND/liter, to 23,135 VND/liter.
On the other hand, oil prices showed the opposite trend: diesel increased by 26 VND/liter to 19,873 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 207 VND/liter to 19,908 VND/liter. Mazut, however, decreased by 85 VND/kg to 17,418 VND/kg.
Thus, from the beginning of the year until now, gasoline and diesel prices have been adjusted upwards 12 times and downwards 10 times.
In this price adjustment period, the Inter-Ministerial Committee continues to neither allocate funds nor utilize the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund for RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, and fuel oil.
