Gasoline prices continue to decrease, RON 95 gasoline falls below 19,000 VND/liter

DNO - On the afternoon of April 17, the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the adjustment of retail prices of gasoline and oil products. Accordingly, gasoline and oil prices will decrease by 210-390 VND/liter from 3:00 p.m. today.

Domestic RON 95 gasoline price decreased for 2 consecutive sessions.

Specifically, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline was adjusted down by VND390/liter, down to VND18,490/liter; the price of RON 95-III gasoline (common type on the market) decreased by VND350/liter, down to VND18,850/liter.

Similarly, oil products also decreased by 210-230 VND/liter during this adjustment period. Diesel oil price decreased by 210 VND/liter, down to 17,030 VND/liter; kerosene price decreased by 230 VND/liter, down to 17,180 VND/liter; fuel oil increased by 60 VND/kg, up to 15,960 VND/kg.

In this management period, the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade continues to not use the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.

Thus, the domestic price of RON 95 gasoline has decreased for 2 consecutive sessions. Currently, the price of this fuel is at its lowest level in the past 4 years, equivalent to the time of April 2021. Since the beginning of the year, RON 95 gasoline has increased 8 times, decreased 8 times. Diesel oil has increased 7 times, decreased 8 times and remained unchanged once.
