Cement price in Lao Cai increased by an average of 50 thousand VND/ton

Since the beginning of May 2025, construction material dealers in Lao Cai city have increased cement prices by an average of 50,000 VND/ton.

The reason for the price increase is said to be due to price adjustments from manufacturing plants and the tendency of raw materials to increase in price.

Specifically, the prices of Hoang Long cement and Ha Trung cement grade 30 - 40 are respectively 1.25 - 1.35 million VND/ton; Hai Phong cement is priced at 1.6 million VND/ton; Yen Binh cement grade 30 - 40 is priced at 1.3 - 1.4 million VND/ton... The price of cement fluctuates depending on the region due to the additional transportation fee.

The price of Hoang Long cement grade 30 - 40 is 1.25 - 1.35 million VND/ton respectively.

Previously, in late April, steel prices in Lao Cai market increased by 160 - 195 VND/kg.

The increase in steel and cement prices is expected to affect construction projects and impact the price of real estate products. According to calculations, the cost of construction materials accounts for 65 - 70% of the estimated value of construction projects, so the increase in material prices will cause construction costs to increase, affecting projects.

Rising material prices will affect construction projects.
