Keep the name of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang Specialized High Schools

GD&TĐ - Bac Ninh Specialized High School and Bac Giang Specialized High School will keep their names as before the merger of Bac Ninh province.

On the morning of July 18, a representative of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province said that the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision on the organizational structure of the Department.

Accordingly, the specialized schools of Bac Ninh province will retain their original names, namely Bac Ninh Specialized High School and Bac Giang Specialized High School. These are two of 80 public high schools and Continuing Education Centers under the management of the Department of Education and Training.

According to the decision of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, the existing civil servants, public employees, and contract workers of the two Departments (formerly Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training and former Bac Giang Department of Education and Training) before the merger will be transferred in their original state (except for the number of civil servants, public employees, and contract workers transferred to the Provincial Inspectorate, Commune-level People's Committees or other agencies and units, if any) to the Department of Education and Training after the merger.

According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh, after the merger, the whole province currently has 1,221 schools; 27,037 classrooms and 910,563 preschool children and students of all levels.

The whole Bac Ninh province has 14 Vocational Education and Continuing Education Centers; 2 Continuing Education Centers; 1 Provincial Center for Continuing Education, Foreign Languages, and Information Technology; 1 Provincial Center for Specialized Education and Social Protection. Along with that are 3 ethnic boarding schools; 3 colleges (Bac Ninh Pedagogical College, Bac Ninh Medical College, Bac Ninh Industrial College); 2 intermediate schools (Bac Ninh Intermediate Culture, Arts and Tourism, Thuan Thanh Vocational College of Economics and Handicrafts). By July 2025, the whole Bac Ninh province has 1,153 types of educational centers and community learning centers in 99 communes/wards in the province.

Regarding staff, Bac Ninh province currently has 46,846 educational managers, teachers and school staff; the quality of staff at all levels continues to be improved to meet the requirements of educational innovation.
