Vietnam Police Team II and Vietnam Police Team I have completely different results.

Facing Cambodia in the opening match at Hang Day Stadium, the Vietnam Police I team used a squad consisting of many young players from the Hanoi Police U.21 team (CAHN). Despite playing with great effort and great desire to show off, the home team still encountered many difficulties against an opponent with more experience and fighting spirit, when most of the Cambodian team was playing in the national championship of this country.

Right from the first minutes, Cambodia quickly imposed their style of play and took advantage of the home team's defensive mistakes. In the first 20 minutes, Vietnam Police Team I conceded two goals in a row. It was not until the end of the first half that the home team had a chance to reduce the score.

From a free kick on the right wing, Hai Binh rushed in and finished accurately, helping the CAND Vietnam I team rekindle hope before the break.

In the second half, CAND Vietnam I decided to strengthen their attack by sending two players who are playing in the V-League, Trung Anh and Ngoc Thang. However, the appearance of these two faces did not create much difference. The Cuong managed to score another goal for the home team, but Cambodia still showed their sharpness with two more goals, thereby closing the match with a score of 4-2.
