"I Love Vietnam" Golf Tournament: Singer Tuan Hung successfully auctioned a painting for 300 million VND

On the afternoon of September 9, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper coordinated with Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank to organize the closing gala of the "I love Vietnam" Golf Tournament at Royal Long An Golf & Villas. After the program, the competition lasted from morning to noon.

After the award ceremony for golfers, the Organizing Committee also auctioned a 60x80 cm oil painting by artist Le Sa ​​Long.

The painting titled "Handing over the flag to fishermen of Con Co district" was created by artist Le Sa ​​Long on the occasion of Mr. Truong Hoa Binh - former member of the Politburo , former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Honorary Chairman of the "Pride of the National Flag" Program handing over the flag from the "Pride of the National Flag" program to soldiers and people of Con Co island district (Quang Tri province).

Today, Con Co is an attractive destination for tourists from near and far, worthy of being a cultural island - a tourist island at the gateway of the Fatherland.

The starting price of the painting was 100 million VND. The representative of Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank raised the price to 150 million VND. Then, the Organizing Committee announced that Mr. Le Tu Minh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of IMG Investment Joint Stock Company - bid 200 million VND.

Singer Tuan Hung raised the price to 300 million VND and became the successful bidder for the painting.

Although he did not win the auction, Mr. Le Tu Minh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of IMG Investment Joint Stock Company - still contributed 200 million VND. In addition, Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank also contributed 300 million VND. Thus, the auction raised 800 million VND.

All of this money will be contributed to two meaningful and humanitarian social service programs that Mr. Truong Hoa Binh and the Lao Dong Newspaper have carried out over the years, namely the "Proud of the National Flag" program and the "Scholarship to support ethnic minority and poor students" program founded by Mr. Truong Hoa Binh and managed and operated by the Lao Dong Newspaper.
