2026 National U19 Championship: Exciting race to the quarterfinals.

After the third round of group stage matches, the National U19 Football Championship – Modern Cup 2025/26 has determined the teams that have officially qualified for the quarter-finals.

In Group B, PVF secured an impressive 4-2 victory against Ho Chi Minh City. Van Duong scored a brace, along with goals from Dang Khoa and Gia Bao. Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City's two goals came from Tran Son and Huynh Luc. Thus, in Group B, Hanoi and PVF advance to the next round as the top two teams.

Previously, Hanoi had already secured their place in the next round after the second matchday, so they made some personnel changes in the game against Ho Chi Minh City Police FC. In that match, the capital city team won easily 4-0.

In Group A, there were no surprises as PVF-CAND defeated Dak Lak 2-0. Meanwhile, The Cong Viettel drew with Hong Linh Ha Tinh 2-2. Thus, Hong Linh Ha Tinh secured a place in the quarterfinals as one of the two best third-placed teams. PVF-CAND and The Cong Viettel also advanced from the group stage with two direct qualification spots.
