According to Mr. Eric Yoe, Asia Pacific is an important market for AWS as the company has invested 10 billion USD in this region. In Vietnam, AWS has a long-term development strategy when investing millions of USD each year in infrastructure, local personnel and training human resources in cloud computing skills. The company is also linking with key industries, focusing on artificial intelligence, data analysis, helping businesses transform digitally...

At the same time, Mr. Eric Yoe also gave 4 technology predictions for 2024 of AWS.

Accordingly, AI assistants will be the trend, the force that creates changes in the market, enhancing the capabilities of software developers, helping them become more creative. These assistants will speed up the coding process, freeing up programmers' time to focus on more important and creative tasks, and businesses will also focus on more complex areas. In addition, AI assistants will also help solve problems, helping developers handle them quickly and effectively.

In 2024, technology serving women's health (Fem Tech) will also take the throne, women can buy birth control pills delivered to their homes, menstrual cups... not only women, this technology also improves health care for everyone.

The next trend is that higher education develops in line with the pace of technological development. According to AWS, if a university degree was enough in the past, now more and more industries require higher specialization, schools will cooperate with businesses to train human resources to meet job demands.

AWS has also trained 21 million people worldwide with the right job skills in a short time, instead of having to study for many years.

Ultimately, as generative AI becomes cognitive and cultural, it will impact all work. Eric Yoe shared that the major language models of generative AI today are all in English, so it is influenced by the culture of the countries that use this language.

Therefore, countries need to develop large language models using their own languages to carry their own cultural identity. Here, it is necessary to combine culture and large local language models smoothly, not just translate from English into their own language, because if only translated, there will be no cultural element.

Mr. Eric Yoe emphasized that artificial intelligence will become the fastest transforming technology in the near future, from construction to retail... and this is just the initial stage.
