In the period of 2021 - 2025, Phuc Tho district has been approved by the Hanoi People's Committee to establish 6 industrial clusters with a total area of 94.86 hectares and a total investment of 1,995 billion VND. Specifically, the industrial clusters include: Lien Hiep phase 2 (12 hectares), Tam Hiep (20.9 hectares), Long Xuyen (5.96 hectares), Vong Xuyen (5.91 hectares), Thanh Da (8.3 hectares), Nam Phuc Tho phase 1 (41.7 hectares).
Head of the Economic Department of Phuc Tho District Can Van Hong said: Currently, all 6 clusters are constructing technical infrastructure. Of which, Thanh Da Industrial Cluster has basically completed the investment and construction of infrastructure, ready to lease commercial land. The remaining 5 industrial clusters are organizing the construction of technical infrastructure.
In addition to the 6 newly established industrial clusters, Phuc Tho district also has 2 industrial clusters formed before Decision 105/2009/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister , with a total area of 28.7 hectares in Lien Hiep commune and Phuc Tho town. The 2 industrial clusters are currently invested by the District Construction Investment Project Management Board, including: Phuc Tho town industrial cluster (20.6 hectares) and Lien Hiep industrial cluster phase 1 (8.1 hectares).
The appraisal and approval of the detailed planning for the construction of industrial clusters is carried out in accordance with the regulations on detailed planning of functional areas stipulated in the Laws, Decrees and relevant documents. The industrial clusters have started construction of technical infrastructure and are implementing the construction in accordance with the approved planning.
Priority is given to craft villages with production technology.
At a recent monitoring session of the Hanoi People's Council Delegation (Constituency No. 28) on the results of industrial cluster planning, investment and construction deployment and management of industrial clusters in Phuc Tho district in the period of 2021 - 2025, representatives of investors of industrial cluster projects raised a number of difficulties and obstacles in implementing the projects.
For example, the work of assigning ownership and mapping land clearance is still difficult. Compensation and support for land, trees, crops, and architectural assets are still low. The progress of other technical infrastructure construction projects is slow and many extensions have been requested due to slow land clearance progress...
According to Phuc Tho District Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Hoan, developing industrial clusters is a key factor for rapid and strong development of the local economy. In order for industrial clusters in the district to develop and operate effectively, Mr. Nguyen Doan Hoan requested that the units assigned as investors be more drastic in implementation.
The district's specialized agencies and units strengthen coordination with investors to speed up the construction progress of infrastructure for established industrial clusters, ensuring synchronous infrastructure associated with environmental protection. Promote the planning, development and effective operation of industrial clusters in the area in the coming time.
Phuc Tho District Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Hoan also requested investors to plan to promote and attract projects to production and business in industrial clusters. Priority will be given to enterprises, households, and production facilities in craft villages; projects using high technology and high production value. At the same time, linking industrial clusters to improve economic efficiency and create more jobs for local workers.
