Supervising the implementation of Conclusion 365 at the Department of Industry and Trade

Binh Phuoc currently has 59 markets, 4 shopping malls, 7 supermarkets, and 3 specialized supermarket systems in operation. To implement Conclusion 365 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Department of Industry and Trade has thoroughly grasped and promoted propaganda, dissemination of knowledge, training on management approaches, and e-commerce skills for consumers and businesses. Work on administrative procedures, inspection, supervision, proposed mechanisms and policies to support the development of trade infrastructure, e-commerce development, and border trade has been paid attention to and implemented regularly.

The Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with relevant functional forces to review issues arising in cross-border trade and import-export activities; provide advice on local land use planning and plans, update plans for commercial infrastructure development; develop plans for logistics service development, comprehensive and specialized warehouse and yard systems, and build pilot food safety market models, etc.

The Department also pointed out difficulties such as: The province's border trade activities have not achieved the expected results. Logistics services have not really connected into a system, operating effectively to serve, support, and promote the development of the province's trade in general, and border trade in particular. E-commerce is growing, but management is still facing many difficulties. The situation of trade fraud, counterfeit goods on e-commerce channels and social networks is increasingly complicated. Planning of functional areas and infrastructure at border gates is still weak and lacking...

At the monitoring session, the difficulties, advantages, and shortcomings in mechanisms, policies, infrastructure, etc. were analyzed by the parties, and solutions were proposed.

The Department of Industry and Trade is the fourth unit after the units including the Provincial Market Management Department, the Provincial Customs Department and the People's Committee of Loc Ninh district that the working delegation of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has supervised the implementation of Conclusion No. 365 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on developing the trade system, e-commerce, and border trade in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030.
