To achieve the above results, every year Thanh Phong commune proactively builds and implements a plan to preserve and promote traditional cultural values, while promoting propaganda andeducation so that people can see the meaning and importance of preserving traditional cultural identity through organizing conferences in communes and villages, integrating movements and campaigns in residential areas, organizing cultural and artistic activities imbued with traditional cultural identity, creating a useful playground for the people, promoting the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" more and more widely in residential areas.

Nhu Xuan district has 4 ethnic groups, accounting for 66.2% of the district's population. Each ethnic group has its own unique culture that has been formed for a long time. Typical examples include: singing xuong, singing giao duyen, and throwing con of the Muong ethnic group; singing dom, singing lullabies, singing slow do ho, and singing and dancing with drums and gongs of the Tho ethnic group; dancing with sand, stirring the bamboo, singing khap, jumping with bamboo poles, and throwing con of the Thai ethnic group... In addition, Nhu Xuan district also preserves and promotes many unique festivals, such as: the buffalo offering festival associated with Chin Gian temple, Dinh Thi festival. Recently, Nhu Xuan district has restored traditional rituals, such as: the new rice offering ceremony, Tet of the Thai people. In addition, the district also has 23 relics, including 6 historical, cultural and scenic relics that have been ranked at the provincial level, such as: the historical and scenic relic of Cong Troi waterfall; the scenic relic of Dong Quan waterfall; Nine-chamber temple historical and cultural relic.
Recognizing the importance of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, Nhu Xuan district has thoroughly grasped and effectively implemented the Resolution of the Central Committee 5 (VIII term) on "Building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity". Directing communes and towns to step up propaganda to raise people's awareness of the significance of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values. Organizing cultural and artistic activities, games and performances in residential areas, agencies, units and schools. Focusing on organizing training courses on preserving and restoring folk songs and dances of ethnic minorities in the district. Paying attention to investing, embellishing and exploiting the value of historical relics and scenic spots to develop tourism.
The work of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of Nhu Xuan district has had many positive changes, contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people.
