In 2025, Hung King's Commemoration Day falls on Monday, April 7th of the Gregorian calendar. This is the day adjacent to the weekend. Therefore, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers will have 3 consecutive days off from Saturday, April 5th to Monday, April 7th on the occasion of Hung King's Commemoration Day (for agencies and units, there will be 2 days off on the weekend).
Students also get 3 consecutive days off on the occasion of Hung Kings' death anniversary, with schools giving 2 days off on the weekend.

The 2025 Victory Day and International Labor Day holidays will take place from April 30 to May 4. Civil servants and public employees will have their working days changed from Friday, May 2 to Saturday, April 26.
Thus, on the occasion of April 30 and May 1 holidays in 2025, civil servants and public employees will have 5 consecutive days off from Wednesday, April 30 to Sunday, May 4, then work as a compensatory day on Saturday, April 26.
