Introducing nearly 300 images of Vietnam's heritages recognized by UNESCO at HANIFF VII

(Fatherland) - Responding to the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival in 2024 with the slogan "Cinema: Creativity - Take Off", on the morning of November 6, the Vietnam Film Institute announced the Exhibition "Vietnam's UNESCO-recognized heritages - Experience through cinema footage".


The exhibition introduces images of Vietnam's heritages recognized by UNESCO, including tangible and intangible cultural heritages, documentary heritages, world biosphere reserves, etc. Thereby promoting Vietnamese tourism, Vietnamese cinema, attracting investors and world film producers to Vietnam, contributing to expanding the Vietnamese film market to the world, integrating into the international film market.

Images presented at the Exhibition

The exhibition consists of 2 parts: Part 1 displays images and filming locations at famous scenic spots in Vietnam. Displaying about 200 images from films made by domestic and foreign filmmakers. These are images introducing Vietnam's heritages recognized by UNESCO. The image of a beautiful, hospitable Vietnam with many famous landscapes has been vividly shown through the lens of filmmakers, contributing to promoting tourism , bringing the image of the country and people of Vietnam closer to a large number of domestic and international viewers.

Images presented at the Exhibition

Part 2 displays about 40 - 50 photos taken by photographers of Vietnam's UNESCO-recognized heritages provided by the Department of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; images of Hanoi - City for Peace provided by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and a number of photography artists.

Images presented at the Exhibition

The exhibition will open on the morning of November 7 and last until November 11, at the National Cinema Center, 87 Lang Ha (Hanoi)./.
