Timely support for localities to respond and overcome the consequences of storms No. 10 and 11
In October, at the request of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee, the State Reserve Department assigned regional State Reserve Sub-Departments to organize the issuance of national reserve goods to support Lang Son, Bac Ninh and Cao Bang provinces.

Transporting relief equipment onto vehicles to support people in provinces affected by storms and floods
In Lang Son , the State Reserve Sub-Department of Regions III and VI urgently completed the delivery of 02 DT1 (ST450) high-speed boats, 02 DT2 (ST660) high-speed boats, 5,000 life buoys, 5,000 life jackets, 300 light life rafts and 06 sets of rescue rope launching equipment; all goods were delivered on the same day, helping the authorities promptly deploy rescue work.
Not only meeting the need for rescue vehicles, the State Reserve Department also assigned the State Reserve Sub-Department of Region VI to supply 2,000 tons of national reserve rice to Lang Son province, with the deadline for completion of delivery until October 20, 2025.
In Cao Bang province, to overcome the consequences of storm No. 11, immediately upon receiving the request for support from the People's Committee of Cao Bang province, the State Reserve Department reported to the Ministry of Finance to decide to issue national reserve goods to the province. Accordingly, the State Reserve Department directed the State Reserve Sub-Departments of Regions I, IV and VI to issue: 20 sets of lightweight life-saving tents (24.5m²), 400 life jackets, 300 round buoys, 50 lightweight life-saving rafts, 4 generators (02 sets of 30 KVA and 02 sets of 50 KVA), 3 sets of drilling and cutting equipment, 6 forest fire fighting pumps, 6 sets of rescue rope launching equipment and 600 tons of national reserve rice to be stored in 2025 (phase 1). Up to now, all goods have been handed over to Cao Bang province for timely distribution to heavily damaged areas.
In Bac Ninh province, the State Reserve Department assigned the State Reserve Sub-Departments of Regions I, VI and VII to provide 60 tons of rice, 40 lightweight life-saving tents of 24.5 square meters, 5,000 life jackets, 3,000 life buoys, 300 lightweight life rafts, 2 generators (30 KVA and 50 KVA) and 03 sets of speedboats of various types (02 sets of DT2 type and 01 set of DT3 type). All goods were delivered on the same day, helping the locality promptly respond to the complicated flood situation.
In the Central provinces, the State Reserve Department has also deployed supplies and equipment to help Quang Tri province and Hue city respond to and overcome the consequences of storm No. 10.
Specifically, the State Reserve Department assigned the State Reserve Sub-Department of Regions IX and X to issue: 5,000 life buoys, 2,500 life jackets, 200 light life rafts, 10 sets of forest fire fighting pumps, 6 sets of generators (02 sets of 30 KVA, 02 sets of 50 KVA and 02 sets of 150 KVA), 6 sets of rescue rope launching equipment for Quang Tri province; issue: 02 DT3 speedboats, 2,000 life buoys, 2,000 life jackets, 400 light life rafts, 06 sets of generators (05 sets of 50 KVA and 01 set of 150 KVA) and 04 sets of rescue rope launching equipment for Hue city .
This resource not only serves emergency rescue and relief work but also supports localities in restoring infrastructure and ensuring safety for people in low-lying areas that are easily isolated when floods continue.
Providing national reserves to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3

Life-saving tents provided by the national reserve force help Nghe An people stabilize their housing after storm No. 3.
Previously, in August, right after storm No. 3 caused damage in many localities, especially in the Central and Northern mountainous regions, the State Reserve Department was assigned to organize support for people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives and gradually restore production.
In Nghe An province - one of the localities that suffered the most damage, the support work was deployed in three consecutive phases: Two phases of providing a total of 40 sets of life-saving tents and one phase of providing 03 DT3 speedboats, 100 light life-saving rafts, 300 life jackets, 300 life buoys, 15 24.5 m² life-saving tents, 13 forest fire pumps and 07 generators (30 KVA and 50 KVA). The continuous support in a short period of time has contributed to helping Nghe An province quickly overcome the damage, share difficulties with people and soon stabilize life after the storm.
Dien Bien province was supported with: 100 tons of rice, 300 life buoys, 300 life jackets, 50 light life rafts and 02 30 KV generators; Son La province was supported with: 890.325 tons of rice, 740 life buoys, 1,295 life jackets, 153 light life rafts and 05 30 KVA generators.
Through the issuances, it is possible to affirm the position and role of the State reserve sector in supporting localities, contributing to ensuring social security, especially in areas heavily affected by natural disasters./.
