Accordingly, with the support of Sichuan Airlines (China), the alliance of travel companies in Khanh Hoa has coordinated with Chinese travel companies to organize a tour to explore "Chengdu - Jiuzhaigou" for people in Khanh Hoa, the provinces of the South Central Coast - Central Highlands in particular and Vietnamese tourists in general. With the Chengdu - Jiuzhaigou tour (6 days 5 nights), visitors will fly directly from Cam Ranh airport to Chengdu by A321 aircraft, and will explore: Jiuzhaigou landscape recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage in 1992; Skiing at Jiaguoshan, exploring the Panda Park in Chengdu, visiting Songpan ancient citadel to feel the antiquity, the world's largest multi-functional building, learning about the culture and cuisine of the Tibetan people... In the program, representatives of the parties signed a memorandum of understanding to promote the exploitation of at least 1 group of tourists each week on the Chengdu - Jiuzhaigou tour (departing every Friday) starting from March to December 2024.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Dinh Phung - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism assessed that the opening of a direct flight between Sichuan and Khanh Hoa by Sichuan Airlines will create favorable conditions for the development of trade and tourism between Khanh Hoa and Sichuan in particular, and Vietnam and China in general. He believes that the Chengdu - Jiuzhaigou discovery tour program organized by the alliance between Chinese tourism companies and travel companies in Khanh Hoa, the South Central - Central Highlands provinces of Vietnam will be a great success, and hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will continue to coordinate to organize many two-way tours to contribute to the continued development of tourism in Khanh Hoa and Sichuan.
