Although they are of different ages, conditions and circumstances, when participating in activities, members become a "common home" of women, sharing and solving difficulties in life, finding solutions to build a warm and happy family. From the activities, family members have more time to understand and sympathize with each other.
Ms. Dang Thi Bao, Club President, shared: “The Village Happy Family Building Club was established in October 2014, from only 5 couples, the Club has now attracted 12 couples, equivalent to 24 members, all of whom are ethnic minorities. During the meeting, the Club's Board of Directors disseminated legal knowledge, prevented social evils from entering the family, child care and raising skills, provided health care advice, actively encouraged economic development and fostered neighborly love, creating a united, joyful and exciting atmosphere...”.
On the occasion of the Vietnamese Family Day on August 26 every year, the clubs organize extensive activities, integrating many rich contents through cultural exchange programs, discussions and awards for typical happy families...
Ms. Giang Thi Cai said: “Thanks to participating in the Club, my husband and I have learned about the Law on Marriage and Family, the Law on Gender Equality, how to prevent social evils, raise children, how to behave between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law... thereby helping my husband and I raise our children well and not have a third child, advise each other on business development and economic development, and together build family happiness.
The family of Mr. Ma Thanh Binh and Ms. Luong Thi Tien shared: "My husband and I were able to participate in the activities of the Happy Family Building Club. We feel very excited and happy and consider this our second home, where we are free to share and exchange secrets to maintain family harmony, creating a united and joyful atmosphere."
In addition, the Club also established an "Independent Fund" with a budget of over 11 million VND. This fund aims to support members with capital to invest in farming, livestock, small business, and family economic development, thereby strengthening neighborly relationships.
Ms. Nguyen Thi An, President of the Women's Union of Kien Thiet Commune, said: "The Pac Nghieng Village Happy Family Building Club is the first club in the commune that has maintained very effective activities. Villagers can exchange, learn and share experiences in raising healthy children, teaching good children and finding ways to build a warm and happy family together; share and help each other develop the family economy, build a strong solidarity and strong neighborly relationship.
From practical and effective methods, the Pac Nghieng Village Happy Family Building Club has promoted practical effectiveness, gradually contributing to reducing domestic violence, gender imbalance and promoting and preserving the good traditions of Vietnamese families.
