According to a survey by Tuoi Tre Online , which recently announced the tourism stimulus package, 14 travel agencies participating in the program have received many orders from tourists.

In the past two days, TOP Vietnam Trading, Service and Tourism Company Limited in Da Nang has received orders from 3 groups of tourists and more than a dozen individual customers.

Many customers questioned tour operators because they were worried that there would be "beer and peanuts" services when they saw the price of a trip to Da Nang was too cheap.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Bon, in charge of operations of this company at the Da Nang branch, said that when registering to participate in the stimulus package, the unit considered many factors, especially the need to make a profit.

According to Mr. Bon, when participating in the tourism stimulus program, the company was given certain promotional codes (booking codes) with preferential prices by 2 airlines.

Similarly at the accommodation hub, hotels registered to participate in the program also have their own discounts with 14 travel companies with prices lower than retail prices.

"Customers choose our service and inform us of their stay time, we will advise them based on the codes provided by the airline to respond to them. We direct them to available combos" - Mr. Bon said.

According to research, in the past, if businesses got the code early, the flights had to pay a lot of upfront costs and the prices were quite "expensive". However, the 14 travel businesses participating in the program received discounts so they still ensured their profit target.

Meanwhile, Ms. Vu Thi Hien, director of Red Beach Tourism Company Limited, said that in reality, if you plan early, anyone can buy plane tickets at a bargain price.

Ms. Hien said that currently, round-trip ticket prices for flights from Da Nang to Hanoi and Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City that the company operates are around 3.5 - 4 million VND.

However, with low-peak flight prices at night and early morning in combo packages, the price can be reduced by nearly half. Plus discounts from hotels will help customers reduce costs significantly.

"If you schedule your flight early, you can still get a reasonable price for a daytime flight like a night flight. Therefore, if you have a travel plan, you should make it early, then you will have more options for 3-4-5 star hotels in Da Nang according to your desired location" - Ms. Hien recommends.

Da Nang once had a similar combo for only 2 million VND.

According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the extremely attractive summer tourism stimulus packages in Da Nang have received the participation of two airlines, Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air.

Previously, in mid-June, the Da Nang Department of Tourism also signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in promoting domestic tourism during the peak season with Vietnam Airlines.

At the same time, access thousands of cheap night flights launched by airlines.

This is the premise for the Da Nang tourism business community, especially accommodation establishments, to also be determined to "join hands" to attract visitors to the city by registering for highly discounted accommodation packages with a group of 14 travel agencies.

Depending on the hotel, each accommodation facility has a certain number of rooms at prices much lower than retail prices for the stimulus program.

The announcement of a super-cheap stimulus package like this time is not new because in the summer of 2020, Da Nang also launched a combo package of 2 million for 3 days and 2 nights of flying.
