The biggest highlight of this year's event was the unveiling of the Android XR smart glasses line, which integrates Gemini AI. Google confirmed the device will be released this fall, marking the company's return to the smart glasses market after years of silence since the Google Glass era.

Unlike previous augmented reality glasses that simply displayed information, this new generation of glasses is designed for voice interaction and real-time AI support. Users can ask for directions, translate conversations, receive suggestions, or search for information without holding their phones.

Alongside the hardware, Google also introduced Gemini 3.5 and Gemini Omni – a new generation of AI models with multi-modal processing capabilities, combining text, images, audio, and video .

According to Google, AI is no longer just about answering questions; it can proactively assist with work, manage schedules, handle emails, create content, and perform many tasks on behalf of users.

One of the most notable changes is Gemini's deep integration into the Google Search engine. The AI ​​can aggregate information, suggest relevant content, and personalize results according to each user's needs.

Google is also expanding AI to YouTube, Workspace, Android 17, and many other platforms to create a seamlessly connected ecosystem.

In addition, Google has introduced several AI-powered content creation tools such as automatic video generation, natural language video editing, and a Generative UI that can automatically organize content based on user queries. These features are seen as a move to directly compete with other AI-generated content platforms on the market.
