In June and July, Lao Cai will organize a mobile propaganda program in border districts with the theme "Pride of a border strip"; organize the 2025 Lao Cai Province Open Voice Contest with the theme "Singing on Hoang Lien Peak"...

In August and September, visual propaganda activities will be carried out in the central areas of Lao Cai city and districts; propaganda films will be shown to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2); a contest will be held to create and exhibit propaganda art paintings on the theme of Lao Cai's homeland and people at the provincial level... The highlight of the series of activities and events is the groundbreaking and inauguration program of key projects and works to celebrate major national holidays such as: Construction of a new Lao Cai Provincial High School for the Gifted; renovation and upgrading of Ho Chi Minh Park, Lao Cai Ward (phase 2)...

In the field of sports, the Lao Cai Open Pickleball Tournament for the Duc Viet Land Cup 2025 will be held in May with the participation of many leading domestic players; organizing the Wushu tournament and the national weightlifting tournament...
