This morning, OCB adjusted down 0.3 percentage points on deposit interest rates from 6-36 months. Thus, interest rates for all deposit terms are below 7%/year.
Specifically, online mobilization interest rates for 6- and 9-month terms are 6.4% and 6.5%/year, respectively. 12-15-month terms are 6.6%/year. 18-21-month terms are 6.8%/year. 24-36-month terms are 6.9%/year.
After CBBank and VietA Bank sharply reduced deposit interest rates on August 9, NCB became the bank with the highest deposit interest rates for 6-11 month terms. However, today NCB continued to reduce deposit interest rates for the second time since the beginning of August.
In this interest rate cut, NCB slightly reduced 0.1 percentage points for deposit terms from 6-60 months. Term of 6-7 months is 7%/year, term of 8-9 months is 7.1%/year. Term of 10-11 months is 7.15%/year.
12-13 month term is 7.3%/year and is the highest interest rate at the present time of NCB.
Meanwhile, the interest rate for 15-18 month term is 7.2%/year, 24-30 month term is 7.1%/year, 36 month term is 7%/year and 60 month term is only 6.9%/year.
Currently, NCB is no longer the bank with the highest interest rate, instead it is GPBank and BVBank. Both banks maintain interest rates of 7.05%/year for 6-month term, 7.15%/year for 9-month term.
Thus, since the beginning of August until now, a series of banks have reduced deposit interest rates including: TPBank, ACB, Eximbank, Techcombank, NCB, VietBank, ABBank, OceanBank, HDBank, Sacombank, VIB, VPBank, MSB, BacA Bank, Saigonbank, CBBank, VietA Bank, SHB , OCB.
Of which, ACB , Techcombank, NCB and VietBank have reduced interest rates twice since the beginning of August.
