Gyokeres closes the future

According to talkSPORT , the Swedish player has chosen his next destination and it will most likely be Arsenal, the team leading the race for his signature.

Gyokeres, 26, moved to Sporting from Coventry City in 2023 and quickly created a fever in Portugal. He scored 95 goals in 99 appearances, an incredible performance that caught the attention of many European giants.

With Arsenal and Manchester United both struggling with the striker position, Gyokeres has emerged as the perfect solution thanks to his versatile goalscoring ability and ideal physique.

Although Gyokeres' contract with Sporting has a release clause of £85m, the Portuguese side are now said to be willing to negotiate for around £58m, a figure that is much more accessible than other targets such as Alexander Isak (who Newcastle value at £150m).
