(Dan Tri) - Vietnam Idol 2023 champion Ha An Huy said this is the right time to give the audience an answer about his silence for over a year.
Recently, Ha An Huy released his first EP (extended disc) consisting of 7 songs. Of which, I miss you and Vang em appeared on the dating show Dao thien duong , and Follow up was also loved by the audience when it became the theme song for the show Dancing with the Stars 2024 .
The songs were composed by Ha An Huy and Korean musicians. The seven songs are completely new musical experiences for the male singer, taking listeners from joyful, bustling emotions to deep silence and finally excitement.
The male singer confided: "Since being crowned Vietnam Idol , I have never been in a hurry about my musical path. Having been quiet for the past year, I don't want to do anything too reckless. I need time to think about who I am, where I belong, and what my musical color is."

The Vietnam Idol 2023 champion confided that during that time, he composed a lot but did not have any connection or sequence to release. "Now, after choosing 7 songs from a series of compositions, I think this is the right time to give the audience an answer about Ha An Huy's silence," the singer said.
He also affirmed that he did not calculate anything when launching the product, but only knew that he could not let down the audience who had waited for him for so long.
"When I planned to produce and release the EP, I didn't think about what I would get in return. So I didn't put much emphasis on achievements. That's also the reason why I chose Anhuyungdung as the main song in the EP, clearly showing my professional perspective of always being leisurely and free in music," said Ha An Huy.
Regarding his future direction, Ha An Huy said he wants to develop in parallel as a performing artist and a composer. The singer confided: "I think it's an interesting challenge. Performing is something I really want to do. And it's even better when I perform on my own songs."
Ha An Huy comes from a family with an artistic tradition. His mother is the cheo artist Minh Phuong. His grandmother is Meritorious Artist Thuy Mo, also a veteran cheo artist. Therefore, from a young age, Ha An Huy was exposed to music and art.
He has participated in many singing competitions and won the championship in both Big Song Big Deal and Vietnam Idol 2023 .
