Ha Nam completes organization of district-level Fatherland Front Congress

This is an important premise for the successful organization of the 17th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ha Nam province for the 2024-2029 term in July 2024.

After completing the grassroots-level Fatherland Front Congress, the Standing Committee of the Ha Nam Provincial Fatherland Front Committee focused on directing localities to prepare conditions to complete the organization of the district-level Fatherland Front Congress in May 2024. As of May 23, the Fatherland Front Committees of districts, cities and towns in the province had successfully organized the district-level Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the 2024-2029 term, completing the plan on schedule.

According to the assessment of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Nam province, the organization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress from the grassroots to the district level in the province is a broad political activity, continuing to affirm the position, role and importance of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the political system. The organization of the Congress ensures solemnity, practicality, efficiency, on schedule and in accordance with regulations, creating an exciting and united atmosphere among the people.

Regarding personnel work, the Standing Committees of the Fatherland Front Committees of localities have properly implemented the steps of personnel preparation procedures, developed personnel plans for the new term of the Fatherland Front Committee, reported to the Party Committees of the same level and the Standing Committees of the Fatherland Front Committees at higher levels for consensus, and consulted with mass organizations and related organizations. The process of selecting and introducing personnel for the new term of the Fatherland Front Committees has sufficient numbers, ensuring the composition structure, focusing on representativeness and typicality, clearly demonstrating the expansion of the great national solidarity bloc. In the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congresses have democratically consulted to elect 331 members to participate in the Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and cities for the 2024-2029 term, ensuring the correct procedures, structure and qualifications.

To successfully organize the 17th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ha Nam province, term 2024-2029 in July 2024, Ms. Tran Thi Ngan - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Nam province said that up to now, the province has completed the drafting of the Political Report assessing the results of the term 2019 - 2024 and the direction for the next 5-year term. The action program of the new term sets out tasks, solutions, and resources for implementation. On the basis of 6 action programs, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels continues to promote innovation in the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, directing activities to the grassroots level; building united, safe, prosperous, and happy residential areas; building a streamlined team of Vietnam Fatherland Front officials at all levels, operating effectively and efficiently; paying special attention to supervision, social criticism, and the fight against corruption and waste; consolidate and strengthen the great national unity bloc, create social consensus.

Along with the drafting of Congress documents, the Personnel Project for the 2024 - 2029 term has been carefully prepared by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Nam province, ensuring a reasonable quantity and structure; the introduced and negotiated personnel have all the prescribed standards to innovate and improve the quality of Front cadres.

Ms. Tran Thi Ngan added that in this term, the Personnel Project for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels has many new points and is implemented uniformly throughout the province. Regarding the personnel of the members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels, it is required to have the participation of the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee at the same level. Regarding the personnel consultation, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels at the provincial level assigns a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to be the Secretary of the Party Delegation, and at the same time introduces the consultation to elect the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the provincial level.
