Of which, there are 136,190 international tourists, up 55.35% over the same period last year and 739,000 domestic tourists, up 13.69% over the same period in 2024. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 3.15 trillion VND, up 25.21% over the same period in 2024.

High-end apartment buildings and 4-5 star hotels have high room occupancy rates such as: Somerset Grand Hanoi apartment building 99%, Sofitel Legend Metrople hotel 88.3%, Fraser Suites hotel 88%, Apricot hotel 84%, etc.

It is estimated that during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the average room occupancy rate of hotels and tourist apartments will reach about 69.67%, an increase of 9.27% ​​over the same period in 2024.

For shopping centers, shopping, entertainment and dining establishments serving tourists, the number of visitors and revenue increased during the 5-day holiday.


According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, tourist accommodation and service businesses that meet standards for serving tourists in Hanoi have seriously implemented security, safety, fire prevention, food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, and the reporting and declaration of temporary residence and temporary absence regimes have been fully complied with by accommodation and service units in accordance with regulations.

On this occasion, the Hanoi Department of Tourism has developed a plan and conducted inspections at a number of tourist destinations with a high concentration of tourists in the city, including: the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ho Chi Minh Museum, the central area of ​​the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long-Hanoi, the special national relic of the Temple of Literature-Quoc Tu Giam, Tran Quoc Pagoda...

At the time of inspection, agencies, organizations and management units at tourist destinations had implemented good security, order, traffic safety and environmental sanitation, and there were no cases of being punished.
