Specifically, information from this leader said that these are electric motorbikes operating at a speed limit of 25 km/h, expected to be present in 9 inner-city wards of Hanoi . The unit also aims to develop 100,000 - 200,000 bicycles and electric motorbikes by 2030, gradually replacing gasoline motorbikes in the inner-city area.
It is known that from October 2025 to the end of 2026, this unit aims to expand the infrastructure to be able to serve 50,000 vehicles operating regularly in the Ring Road 1 area. Each vehicle is expected to serve an average of 5 trips/day, equivalent to 250,000 trips/day; 7.5 million trips/month; 90 million trips/year.

Vehicles will be prioritized in areas with high travel demand such as: Near metro stations, bus stations, schools (middle school, high school, university), hospitals, densely populated areas, old quarters...
The model is being replicated to gradually replace fossil fuel-powered motorbikes in the inner city, forming a green, smart, zero-emission personal transport network; while promoting the development of a more efficient, comprehensive and community-friendly public transport system.
