With a proactive approach to combating and preventing crime "early, from afar, and from the grassroots," and to ensure security and order for upcoming events in the area, the Hoan Kiem Ward Police, Hanoi City, has focused on deploying armed patrol teams combined with undercover operations to promptly detect, prevent, and handle violations of the law.
At exactly 10 PM every day, the task force begins patrolling the streets and alleys of the ward. Checkpoints are flexibly arranged according to the time of day and the actual situation, ensuring comprehensive patrols while promptly addressing areas with potential security and order issues. With the spirit of "being closest to the people," during the performance of their duties, when they discover vehicles that are not properly locked or households that are negligent in ensuring the safety of their property, the task force proactively reminds and assists them to prevent potential risks.
After more than a month of implementation, armed patrols combined with covert operations have contributed to improving the effectiveness of preventing and combating various types of crimes and violations of the law in the area. Many incidents have been promptly detected and handled by the police force, contributing to maintaining security and order, creating a safe environment for the people and tourists.
In conjunction with the implementation of the "Three Best" emulation movement: Most Disciplined - Most Loyal - Closest to the People, each officer and soldier of the Hoan Kiem Ward Police continues to uphold a high sense of responsibility, maintain discipline and order, and diligently serve the people, contributing to building a safe and peaceful area.
