Hanoi starts construction and opens two important traffic projects - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

On the morning of April 19, the Hanoi People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project to build a grade-separated intersection between Ring Road 3.5 and Thang Long Avenue (Hoai Duc District). This is one of a series of projects that were started and inaugurated nationwide this morning, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Hanoi city leaders issued the order to start construction of the level-separated intersection project between Ring Road 3.5 and Thang Long Avenue.

The investment project to build a grade-separated intersection between Ring Road 3.5 and Thang Long Avenue (Hoai Duc district) is invested by Hanoi city budget with a total investment of over 2,384 billion VND.

The construction scale of the intersection includes turbine branches combined with a direct tunnel from Le Trong Tan Street (Ha Dong) to National Highway 32, the centerline coincides with Le Trong Tan Street, arranging 4 lanes with a total length of 975m. The section under Thang Long Avenue is designed with a closed tunnel 150m long. On Le Trong Tan Street, an open tunnel is designed with a length of 157.5m, and a retaining wall 220m long.

The project aims to complete the transport infrastructure system (framework infrastructure) according to the plan; connect exploitation with the invested and constructed transport infrastructure; serve the needs of goods circulation, production and people's travel needs, reduce traffic congestion, contribute to accelerating the formation of urban areas in the region, promote the socio-economic development of the capital.

On the same morning, Hanoi city also held an inauguration ceremony to open the extended Le Quang Dao road.

Le Quang Dao extended road has officially opened to traffic.

The investment project to build the extended Le Quang Dao road has a length of about 2,673m, with a total investment of more than 705 billion VND. The starting point is the intersection with Thang Long Avenue, in Me Tri ward (Nam Tu Liem district), the end point is at the boundary with Duong Noi urban area (Ha Dong district).

The route is designed according to inter-regional road standards, speed 60km/h. The cross-section is 40m; the section connecting to Thang Long Avenue (about 110m long) has a cross-section of 100m... The project ensures safety, quality and urban beauty, contributing to reducing traffic congestion on neighboring roads in the area, creating conditions for socio-economic development of the capital.
