At the same time, Ao Dai becomes an impressive souvenir product for international tourists when coming to Vietnam.
Through this activity, a new direction is opened, contributing significantly to making Vietnam tourism in general and Hanoi in particular a favorite destination, the top choice of many domestic and international tourists.
Thanks to innovating many forms and models and knowing how to take advantage of major holidays, Hanoi city is increasingly attracting a large number of tourists, is highly appreciated, and earns tens of thousands of billions of VND in budget revenue each year.
In the first 9 months of 2024 alone, the total number of visitors to Hanoi is estimated at 21.12 million, up 11.7% over the same period in 2023; of which international visitors are estimated at 4.45 million, up 40.8% over the same period, domestic tourists are estimated at 16.66 million, up 5.8% over the same period. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at VND 81,932 billion, up 18.5% over the same period in 2023.
