Of the total number of international visitors to Hanoi in the last days of July, there were about 21,750 visitors staying overnight. The largest number were visitors from China, South Korea, Japan, the US, and the UK, France, India, Taiwan (China), and Australia. Domestic visitors reached more than 140,000. Total revenue from tourists reached 630 billion VND.
Some hotels near My Dinh Stadium in districts such as Thanh Xuan, Cau Giay, Nam Tu Liem, etc. have seen a 20% increase in room occupancy compared to previous weekends. The number of searches for room bookings in Hanoi on July 29 and 30 also increased 10 times compared to last week, according to Agoda .
From before Blackpink's performance on July 28 to July 30, the number of visitors to Hanoi's tourist attractions increased slightly by about 15-20% compared to previous weekends. The Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam welcomed more than 9,600 visitors, Thang Long Imperial Citadel welcomed more than 8,000 visitors... The number of visitors on the double-decker bus increased significantly, especially the number of visitors buying tickets online in the last 3 days of July increased by 15% compared to previous days.

The number of visitors at My Dinh Stadium during Blackpink's two concerts alone was about 70,000, including 3,000 international fans from China, Canada, Hong Kong (China), Australia, Thailand... While the number of domestic visitors were Hanoi residents, tourists from Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang , Nha Trang.
Based on the success of the Blackpink performance in Hanoi, the Department of Tourism proposed that the City People's Committee consider directing departments, branches and sectors to support organizations and businesses with financial capacity and international reputation to organize international cultural, sports and tourism events in the city.
Previously, answering Lao Dong about the strategy of building the "event city" brand for Hanoi after the Blackpink performance, Ms. Dang Huong Giang, Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism, said: "To exploit and develop music tourism products to become one of the strengths of the capital's tourism, in the coming time, Hanoi Department of Tourism will promote Hanoi tourism on the airwaves of media channels, social networking sites as well as at domestic and international tourism promotion events".

The event of Blackpink performing for the first time in Hanoi is expected to be a boost for the tourism industry, contributing to promoting the beautiful image of Vietnam to the international media. The four girls of the world's number 1 famous Korean girl group made fans excited when they greeted each other in Vietnamese and recounted the experience of eating pho "slurping down the last drop" during the performance. Blackpink's two shows attracted about 60,000 spectators at My Dinh National Stadium.
