The program took place at the August Revolution Square, where 80 years ago the historic rally took place on August 19, 1945, starting the General Uprising to seize power throughout the country, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 1945. The program was directed by People's Artist Tan Minh, historical advisor and commentator: Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Duc Cuong; scriptwriter and general director: Ms. Tuyet Minh; music director: Artist Duong Cam...
The program consists of three chapters: On the fiery land of Thang Long, Ba Dinh sunshine - His words echo forever, The heroic epic of the Ho Chi Minh era, recording important historical slices over the past 80 years.

Right in the middle of the historic square, the Marching Song (Van Cao) choir resounded with pride and emotion. Thousands of people stood up and faced the national flag that appeared, covering the entire stage in a sacred manner.
Classic songs that have entered the memories of the Vietnamese people were played. From the Internationale (composed by Pierre De Geyter) and mash-ups of songs expressing the dialogue of the people participating in the General Uprising such as Guerrilla Song (Do Nhuan), The Call of Youth (Luu Huu Phuoc), Destroy Fascism (Nguyen Dinh Thi), Together We Go Red Soldiers (Dinh Nhu); to the song Eighteenth Month (Xuan Oanh)... the program recreated a Hanoi that was elegant, romantic but no less loyal and tragic through music. Famous singers participating in the program such as People's Artist Hoang Anh Tu, Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Tran Lin, singer Hoang Hai, singer Van Mai Huong, singer Lam Bao Ngoc, Oplus Group, singer Dong Hung, singer Khanh Linh, singer Trong Hung... sang with pride. Not only can the audience enjoy the singing, but they can also enjoy the mass dances, expressing the spirit of the songs in an artistic way, not just illustrating the content of the songs.

With her own style, choreographer Tuyet Minh not only made a simple concert of songs but also included very attractive musical pieces, contributing to recreating the golden history pages of Hanoi, a thousand years of culture.
The program ended with a 3D mapping display and artistic fireworks, taking the audience on a journey of light through time, from glorious historical milestones to the technological heart of Vietnam's future today.
Among a series of major art programs on the occasion of this year's important holidays, but a program rich in Hanoi's character, a program combining the strength of a top-notch artist team with the achievements of modern technology, a particularly attractive stage arrangement, "Hanoi - From the historic autumn of 1945" still has its own mark, its own impression in the hearts of the public.
